We have designed our products knowing how much you care for your body. 

Many of the chemicals used today in various skincare and cosmetic products are gaining attention because of the negative effects it can have on our skin and health. Many of the harmful chemicals and agents are carcinogenic in nature. Research over several decades has confimed beyond doubt that many chemicals in today's skincare brands impacts one's mental and physical health in the long run. 

We have done months of our own research to make sure that none of these chemicals and agents reach our products. Here are some of these :

NO harmful surfactants SLS/SLES

Sulphates like SLS/SLES are salts that are formed when sulphuric acid (H2SO4) reacts with another chemical. They are produced from petroleum & can irritate your eyes and skin and prematurely clear off dye from your hair. They also cause harm to aquatic species when washed away.

NO artificial preservatives like Parabens

They can cause hormone imbalance and effect brain function.Some studies explain that parabens enter your skin and mimic estrogen that triggers excessive cell division in the breast. This eventually leads to breast cancer.

NO Phthalates ( for spreadability)

They are used for increasing spreadability of creams and lotions. We have kept it out as they are toxic for the reproductive and developmental functions of the body.

NO Hydroquinone (for skin lightening)

Hydroquinone is a known carcinogen. It is used to treat pigmentation related to acne scars, freckles, age spots and functions by reducing the melanin pigment-producing cells but Prolonged use can lead to whitening of the skin, as it reduces melanocytes to a great extent

NO Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) (thickening agent)

It can cause cancer and respiratory disorders. It can also strip off the natural oils (sebum) from your skin and trigger the sebaceous glands (oil-producing glands) to make more sebum that can make the skin greasy.

NO Diethanolamine (foaming agent)

 It is a foaming agent that is commonly found in body washes, shampoos, cleansers and bubble bath. It is a cancer-causing agent and a respiratory toxin so we have avoided it and relied on the natural foam and lather.

NO Petrolatum (softening agent)

While it creates a barrier to prevent water from escaping, it also prevents absorption of moisture from the air. Your skin dries out eventually and this is the reason why you are tempted to reapply . It finds no place in our products.

NO Microbeads

Microbeads are small, solid, manufactured plastic particles that are less than 5mm in diameter and do not degrade or dissolve in water. They are prevelant in today's cosmetic, personal care and cleaning products. They are a disaster for our environment and hence find no place.

NO heavy metals (Lead, Mercury)

Heavy metals are known to cause neurological disorders in our body. All our products are tested for presence of heavy metals and all have passed with flying colours.
